"Mom, you know those lemon q-tips they have at the hospital? Do we have any?"
"They're called lemon swabs, and they are for when you are dehydrated--why?"
"I don't know I just want some." ( I couldn't get them near him when he was in the hospital!)
"It was only barely blue. It's like about 4 or 5 drops of blue paint in a big bucket of white paint..." (NO-I didn't make that up! My kid actually said that!!)
"Mom, how do we pay the government?"
"Can we talk about this when I'm not on the roof?"
"Mmmm...O.K."
"So, if someone eats poison, you give them milk and call Poison Control?"
"Yes, that's what the Scout book says."
"What if the person is lactose-intolerant?"

Kind of reminds me of someone's wedding dress--what was it, white with one or two drops of pink in it?
The question about the milk reminds me about animal crackers. Can vegetarians eat animal crackers? They are animals? And what does it say when dogs- or tim- eat people crackers?
Most lactose intollerant families have "another" form of milk. Just tell them you give them Rice Milk instead of cow milk when a lactose intollerant person drinks poison. It is actually a good thing for me to think about--what if my daugter drank poison? Thanks for the heads up!
For those of you who are not familiar with Tim's episode.....We went to the store when he was young, he begged for a treat and finally asked if he could have a box of crackers, of course I gave in BUT only if he promised to eat all of them and not just crush them into the carpet of the car. After one bite he started complaining and said he was not going to take another bite. I of course in my wisdom insisted he finish the whole box WITHOUT COMPLAINING. Boy you should have heard the bawling from the back seat. Come to find out he was eating "People crackers" meant for dogs. I bet he can still taste them now. Sorry Tim. Love MOM
