For those who are wondering, for those who care, here's a bit about what's been going on with us:
Family
My extended family enjoyed a nice weekend together in the woods. Games, food, movies, food, playing in the dirt and food.
Tonight we will celebrate my parents as they prepare to leave on their mission, and tomorrow we will listen to them wax spiritual as they speak in church.
Job
Training is over and I have been thrown into the fray. I'm feeling like I'm getting handle on things, and I enjoy what I do and actually look forward to going to work. Go figure.
Fun
Last night we had multiple invitations to all different parts of the valley, so we narrowed it down to some at the Premiere of The Dark Knight and some at Seussical, the Musical to see a friend perform. It all ended with a great chat with a long-distance friend and Krispy Kreme donuts. What night isn't fabulous when it ends with Krispy Kreme??
House and Yard
Yeah, well, something's gotta give.
Kids
Happy, healthy, eating me out of house and home. Enjoying Scouting activities, Air-Soft gun wars with neighbors, the occasional Whopper with fries and reruns of their favorite shows. The "S" word (school) isn't mentioned much. I'm mentally preparing myself to have a freshman in high school and my youngest playing football. Ah, 'tis life.
