This season is often bitter and sweet for many of us. There are good memories of holidays that warm our hearts. There are sad events that make us yearn for earlier times. There are those we love whom we miss because of distance or time. There are those we love who surround us and remind us why we love them. There are those whom we don't know, or barely know, who help us hope for something sweeter. Any way you look at it, this season is a time of reflection. What have I done? What should I have done? What will I do now?
This is the season of rebirth and renewal, maybe more than spring. This season reminds us of the sweet gift of eternity. I suppose the best gift is to realize that there is time to repair what was or wasn't done. All is not lost--it will one day be found.

Wow! Well said! You really need to write books. Thanks for giving me some deep thought this morning. It was so good to see everyone the other day. I am so grateful we were all able to get together (with the exception of mom and dad). Love you!
Merry Christmas, Mich! I love you and hope i am counted as one who reminds you of how much you are loved.
Well said dear friend. (p.s. please tell me about that fabulous picture)
