Grocery shopping

This evening I was in the frozen foods section of the local grocery store--Smiths. I was looking for a specific item: Forkless Gourmet. I saw a blurb about them on the Food Network. They are made in Spanish Fork, UT and they look very good, so I wanted to test them out. I looked into the freezer under a sign marked "Gourmet Entrees". There I found mini corn dogs. What makes them gourmet? The word mini? Does that make it more like hors d'oeuvres if it's mini--that's the gourmet part? But this is what I have come to expect from my local grocery store. I have visited them before for items that they just don't have--crazy things like eggplant and kiwi fruit. (How can you not have eggplant?)

How can they not have kiwi? That is a summer staple for me.
