Oh so many of you say you want me to blog more. But what to blog?
Today my son came home from a camping trip with our ward with small blisters on the tip of his tongue. He stuck it to a used propane tank to see if it would stick, like in "Christmas Story" with the frosted pole. It did.
My friend at work leaves each day, tossing a comment over his shoulder like "Stay cool" or "Peace out". I don't know the correct responses to these comments. It was suggested that I counter with "Word to your muthuh!" Don't know that I could do that with a straight face.
I learned to make Thai curry--yellow, masaman, red--it's been a staple at my house since. Very good and much cheaper than eating at Sawadee.
Recently I had the most delicious and authentic pizza. It was a thin, crackery crust with finely crushed tomatoes, garlic and oregano, drizzled with olive oil. No cheese. My friend Penny assures me that this is how you get pizza in Rome. She lived in a campground outside Rome for a year, so she should know. If you can, rush to Settebello. Really, you must!

My birthday was a lovely day of being spoiled. Balloons, cards, food, plants, smelly things and even a tiara. But truly the biggest surprise was this cake sitting on my desk at work. I felt very loved!
A week ago a dear friend was staying at the Grand America Hotel--a gift from her husband--and invited me and another friend to visit. We watched movies, ate room service food and Oreos and chatted into the night. It was lovely! I think we may treat ourselves to that luxury again!
That very well may be all I can blog right now. Not too much else going on, I'm afraid. Which is good. Just enough going on to keep me busy.
