I've been spending some time roofing-yes, you read that right, roofing. My hubbie is roofing a friend's house and has recruited some help to move the job along, so I've been pitching in (get it? pitching? wahaha!) to get things done more quickly.
I know most roofers look overly tan and sweaty and show a bit too much of their "lower back", but I don't fit the traditional roofer typecast. I've slathered the sunblock on my arms, neck and face, wear sunglasses and a large hat, and yesterday I wore a floral t-shirt. I'm sure I've given a bad reputation to all the studly roofers in the area.

I would give some serious money to witness "Mich the Roofer" with my own eyes . . .
Michi, Do you remember when we "reroofed"? It was right after Benji died and we were all up there? Even Shirley came over with a hammer to help (She knew that it was Benji's birthday that day.) I will never forget that. I hope Chet is paying you overtime to help him. After all good looking help is hard to come by. *****Don't Fall Off****
LOVE MOM
Maybe you'll get a "lower back tan". Be careful!
I totally remember roofing--never remember Shirley ever lifting a hand to help, but I totally remember roofing. Good, sticky, stinky memories. Someday I want to be the guy that can walk right up the ladder without holding on to it. Or walk down front ways. Now that would be the total roofer dude moment!
