Fry sauce anyone?

I have rediscovered the joy of the original fry sauce! I've been far away from Arctic Circle for a long time, so when I stopped by a few days ago I was very surprised. They now offer halibut fillets and taco salad. I was just planning to take a walk down memory lane by ordering onion rings, fry sauce and a Lime Squeeze. But when faced with such an unexpected selection--quite the dilemma.
I know that some would argue that the true and living fry sauce is at Crown Burger, but I haven't been back to visit there yet, so we'll hold all verdicts until then.

Last night I was able to help a dear friend celebrate her son's acheivements. My visiting teaching partner in Tacoma came for the day because her son, Jared, was giving his Senior Recital in Piano Performance at BYU. I helped her get some things together for the reception afterward. It was so wonderful to spend time with her again, and the performance was OUTSTANDING. We took Sam and his reaction was "Wow! If Mozart was still alive, Jared could teach him how to play the piano!" I was very happy that Sam enjoyed it.

I've been enjoying my time with Amber very much. Indeed, I love to visit with my brother, but he is very busy with finals and I don't see him much. I adore my nephew, who is absolutely edible! But I'm mostly enjoying the daily sisterhood and the unexpected revelations about Amber. I'm realizing I don't know her very well really, so I'm happy for the opportunity to reacquaint myself with her. Plus she helps me not to drown my sorrows with too much food.

Of course, fry sauce doesn't count.

The true Fry Sauce is at Glades Drive-In in Spanish Fork.

That or the 'dipping sauce' at Training Table.

While I am familiar with Glades' fry sauce, and do like it, there is something just not right about it being white. Fry sauce is supposed to be pink; white fry sauce makes me wonder how they made it, did they just leave mayo out in the sun or what? So I contest that Crown Burger has the best fry sauce. I would say that the best fry sauce variations would be training table or greek souvlaki. Anyhow, I'm glad you're enjoying your time with Tim and Amber. We had them over the other night and it was great!

Mmmm. Crown Burger.

Crown Burger fry sauce has spices in it -- curry if I am correct. So it cannot be the original. Delicious, yes. The original and best? Sorry. No.

I am very confused Rach. Mayo in the sun? But you said it is not pink so do you mean ketchup in the sun and it bleached out? Although I am not a very big fry sauce fan, I must say the homemade fry sauce that my friend made at the ScrapUSA on a drink lid was so good I actually ate it. I am more a mustard kinda person--bittersweet & sour all the way! Kind of like my personality/ attitude a lot of the time.

Isn't the one and only true fry sauce from Hires? They've been around forever and even sell it!

Glades' Fry sauce is Mayo and Pickle Juice, and something else. No Ketchup. Good Stuff, though.
