Did you see how many comments fry sauce racked up? I think that's an all-time high! I had no idea it was such a hot topic. What can I say to follow that? What could possibly be good enough?
Perhaps this....
The theory goes that if you measure your child's height at the age of two, it should equal half of their adult height. For instance, my oldest measured 36 1/2 inches when he was two, so as an adult he should be 6 foot 1 inch.
I always wondered if this theory was true, but figured it hadn't been around long enough to be proven true, much like the effectiveness of the chicken pox vaccine...but I digress....
In clearing things out at my mother-in-law's house I ran across my husband's baby book. Because my m-i-l was a whiz at keeping records of things, she had his height written down at the age of two. Actually, it was two years, 4 months. He was 37 1/2 inches tall. Today, he stands at 6 foot even. Hmmmm. How much can a child grow in 4 months? An inch and a half? Perhaps.
PS Don't get your knickers in a wad over the chicken pox thing--it's only my opinion and what do I know???

I just measured my two year old (Oscar) and he will only be 5'3"! Yikes. Let's hope it is wrong!
